GTeam Youth Space
Phase One of the Grahamtown Youth Recreation Space delivers a compact, energy-conscious hub designed to serve Forest City’s Grahamtown neighborhood. This initial build centers on a large, flexible meeting room and a series of adaptable classrooms that support after-school programs, skill-building workshops, community meetings, and youth-led activities. Thoughtful layout and material choices prioritize daylighting, natural ventilation, and low-operating-cost systems to keep ongoing maintenance and utility demands minimal.
Located to complement the nearby GTeam Center, the new facility extends programming capacity and creates seamless opportunities for joint events, shared resources, and coordinated youth outreach. Interior spaces are organized for easy supervision, multipurpose use, and simple reconfiguration, while exterior considerations include safe pedestrian access. Phase One establishes an efficient, community-focused foundation for future expansion and intensified services for Grahamtown’s young people.
